Nation’s Leading Developer of Local New Healthcare Revenue for Stations Welcomes Billy Huggins, New Managing Partner
SANTA BARBARA, California—January, 2018 – Schulhof, Regan & Associates today announced the addition of William “Billy” Huggins as managing partner. The company is now Huggins, Schulhof & Regan.
Huggins comes to the firm from Sinclair Broadcasting Group as general manager of their stations in the Myrtle Beach, S.C. market. He brings to the organization a unique combination of experience and core competencies in broadcast and healthcare marketing.
Huggins spent the early years of his career as a regional marketing director for United Healthcare, where he gained in-depth experience in developing successful information-based, marketing-driven healthcare campaigns. Huggins then made a successful transition into broadcast, ultimately becoming general manager of several stations in multiple markets.
“We are excited to have Billy join our successful team as managing partner,” said Carl Schulhof, founder of Huggins, Schulhof & Regan. “Having worked with Billy for over 20 years as a client and colleague on multiple initiatives, we’ve found an experienced broadcast executive with the vision to develop new multi-media channels that benefit the broadcast stations, healthcare partners, and ultimately, the patients.”
“I am delighted to be a part of this innovative company as managing partner,” Huggins said. “It will allow me to continue to help the two industries I have a passion for: healthcare providers and local broadcasters. For more than 20 years I have worked with their organization and seen firsthand the positive impact of their healthcare-media partnerships in generating long-term new revenue and enhancing the quality of life for those the campaigns reach.”
“Our healthcare media partnerships generate new revenue for our client stations, new patients for our healthcare providers, and help those needing care make informed treatment decisions,” said Charles Regan, of Huggins, Schulhof & Regan. “It all comes down to experience. We are leveraging our successful track record of more than 35 years of developing media partnerships for 96 broadcasters in 44 markets.”
